BC's 2017 HIGH POINT QUALIFYING RETRIEVER

BC's 2017 High Point Qualifying Retriever - Coolwaters Black Line JFTR QFTR
Coolwaters Black Line JFTR QFTR
"Georgia"

Dave DouglasI would like to thank everyone in BC and all Association Members for their hard work with field dogs in 2017.

I would also like to recognize Alex Washburn of Coolwater Kennels for breeding and giving me Georgia. As we all know the competition is at a new standard for field dogs in British Columbia so a good dog is a great start.

I would like to thank all the members of the winter training group the BOB team for there influence with myself and Georgia. I would also like to recognize the people at home that spent there time throwing marks.

Georgia had a very good year in 2017. She was the high point dog in Qualifying and Junior in BC and Canada, as well she made the US derby list. I am not sure if a young dog has been the high point Junior and Qualifying in the same year and that accomplishment is what we are most proud of.

Becoming the high point Qualifying dog was a dog fight between Rod Spense's Jasper and Georgia, they went back and forth all year long. Georgia would not have been high point Qualifying dog if Rod would not have handled her in a recent trial to a win in my absence. This show Rods character and sportsmanship which is prevalent in our game.

Thanks Rod

Sincerely
Georgia, Susan and Dave
