I would like to thank BCARTC and all the member clubs for putting on events of all kinds in British Columbia this year (2024). I would also like to thank all competitors who took the time to compete in those venues. It takes a community to keep our sports going and running smoothly. I would also especially like to recognize the VIRC executive and members for the work they have done for our sport on Vancouver Island, the group have done a heck of a job again this year. Without our southern training group both mentoring and teaching, none of our dogs would have a chance to reach their true potential.
I have been fortunate to own Georgia. She proved early even from the time I picked her up at Coolwater Kennels she was going to be special. Choosing her with the help of Alex Washburn was an exciting day 9 years ago.
2024 was a very good year for us as even at eight years old she remained competitive. With only 13 all age trials this year she is:
Number one in All Age in BC trials.
Number one in Amateur Handler points in Canada.
Number three in All Age points in Canada.
Surpassed the 100 All Age lifetime Points in Canada.
Invited to the tenth series of the national her 3rd time in the last three years.
I am very proud to own Georgia.
